This page describes the use of cookies on the website of I.N.V. – Istituto Nazionale di Verifiche and how you can express or change your preferences.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s device. They may be technical (required for the website to work) or, in other contexts, analytics or marketing cookies. On this website, in the current configuration, only necessary technical cookies and tools are used.

Cookies and tools identified

Necessary cookies (always active)

  • inv_cc — first-party cookie that stores the choice expressed in the consent banner (duration up to 12 months).
  • WordPress session cookies — used only for users authenticated in the administration area (login and security).
  • Contact Form 7 — contact forms run with local scripts; anti-spam checks (honeypot, minimum time, rate limit) do not set profiling cookies.

Functional, analytics and marketing cookies

In the current configuration no non-essential functional cookies, third-party analytics (for example Google Analytics), advertising pixels, remarketing or profiling tools are active. Scripts of this type are not loaded before consent, because they are not present.

Consent management

On the first visit a banner appears allowing you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies or manage preferences by category. The choice is saved and is not shown again on every page change. You can reopen the panel at any time from the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer.

Fonts and third-party services

Fonts are loaded from the device system fonts. No requests are made to Google Fonts. Elementor Free and Hello Elementor are used without Elementor Pro dependencies and without external marketing services.

Check on the production environment

Before publication on the final domain, the cookie inventory must be repeated: hosting, WAF, CDN or monitoring tools may introduce processing that is not present in the local development environment.

Browser settings

You can delete or restrict cookies from your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may affect some website functions, including storage of the consent preference.
